The whole ride today is on an extinct volcano covered in trees. The ride around the volcano is one of the longest climbs in Tuscany. A wonderful day among chestnut and beech woods that accompany us on the top of the volcano. Finally a wild bath in the warm waters of the Bagni San Filippo stream formed by the natural thermal springs of the volcano.

When darkness is coming: Osteria Futura – Monteriggioni.

After the aperitif in the square of the fortified village of Monteriggioni (13th century), we have dinner in one of our favorite “young” trattorias, already very popular with cooking enthusiasts. We will find a reinterpretation of the generous “Tuscan Tavern” with tasty ingredients, carefully chosen and treated in a modern kitchen. An excellent wine list resulting from the passionate research of the area will allow us to taste different types of Chianti, a worthy last farewell dinner from Tuscany.

Signature dishes: Homemade Pappardelle with hunted wild boar ragù – Scamerita with fig and mustard sauce.
