A week of preparation for the great event: the Eroica Classic Gaiole in Chianti where more than 8000 cyclists ride bicycles built before 1987… the largest bike vintage event in the world.
A week of acclimatization on the Tuscan routes like Eroica gravel roads, Via Francigena, Strade Bianche, Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata.
SATURDAY, the first approach to the vintage bicycle with which you will participate in the Eroica and a visit to the vintage market where you can choose and complete your vintage outfit.
SUNDAY, early rising and cold and dark departure for those who choose the 205KM route. It is a great party for everyone, the queue to leave “in the French way”, the climb to the castle of Brolio illuminated by torches, the path up and down the hills and the triumphal arrival of a true Eroico.
A week on the bike, rewarded in the evening by excellent dinners accompanied by the great Tuscan red wines: Chianti, Brunello, Montepulciano.
