We meet the Murge for the first time. Murge mountains are the backbone of Apulia. We start from the White city of Ostuni and through pastoral roads we arrive to the city of Taranto. We will walk the old roads of the transhumance of sheep flocks. Centuries-old olive groves, dry stone walls, old watchtowers dating back to two thousand years ago.
Fun back roads cross the Murgia up to the surprise of the Small Sea of Taranto, the beautiful naturalistic oasis, the refugee of protected birds and fish.
Tonight we dine in a starred restaurant, very tied to the tradition of the territory, a casket where we will be welcomed and pampered, a seasonal ethical cuisine, inextricably linked to the generous territory that hosts us. A local and international wine selection capable of satisfying even the most demanding enthusiast.
Signature dishes: Fusilli with white lamb ragu on ricotta cream – Truffled quail with mashed potatoes and Stagionelli salad.
